Biography
Monica Rodriguez has been CEO of the Monica Rodriguez Insurance Agency since 2006. She is currently on the Board for the National Hispanic Organization of Real Estate Associates (NHORA) and serves as Director of Events. In 2017 she served on the Board of NHORA as the Scholarship Chair. Prior to insurance, she had joined the company Exelixis, Inc. as Associate Research Scientist in the Pharmacology Department performing preclinical oncology studies. Previous to oncology research, she worked at University of California San Diego School of Medicine as a Laboratory Assistant studying Allergy and Immunology research. She has authored several scientific publications in Allergy and Immunology. Monica Rodriguez holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of California San Diego.
